Hello Writersbeat,

I use to be a part of another community (legendfire.com) that's about to disband as a critiquing community forum. So, I'm attempting to find other forums that are somewhat similar in nature.

I tend to share mostly poetry, and enjoy helping and giving my opinions on how and where a story might be lacking etc.

I'm not a english teacher, but some people said I give off that vibe. Meh, I'm only as organized and knowledgeable as my experience allows and continues.

I've published one short story (sci-fi) and in the fall a poem I submitted recently will be published.

Thanks, looking forward to getting to read and know more about what goes on around here.

* Can I ask the mods: has this site ever considered a chatbox (shoutbox) feature?

Welcome. It's been slow here for a while but seems to be picking up some. I look forward to seeing your work.

What's a chatbox?

We have a chatbot; does that count?

Welcome to a poet that first engages in sci fi.

There was a young lady from mars
who danced in gallactic bars....

Ok, so that's more a limerick....

Adding things like chatbox/shoutbox is probably out of the question - there was a server glitch in Dec 2016 and not all the issues are fixed.

A chatbox is just a chatroom app that can be included into a forum. Bots wouldn't count because they aren't people but an auto responder

Our chat bot is a real person. I think.

Isn't a forum just a chat room anyway?
I'm not sure there are enough folks online here at the same time to make chatting a robust part of this place. Sometimes I'll catch someone else online with a post and we can chat a bit in mostly real time. Usually not though.

Haha. Yea, only kinda of. Cool though, small communities trump heavy traffic.
