Default SPaG Workshop Rules

The SPaG Workshop is a sub-forum through which members may post a piece for a very detailed spelling, punctuation, and grammar (i.e. SPaG) critique.

All members are welcome to submit a piece of work, so long as they truly wish to seek help with any possible SPaG issues they feel they might have. Respect, an open mind, and a sincere desire to learn and apply what’s been taught in the SPaG Workshop are an absolute must. Otherwise, it’s all for naught, and we might as well have been speaking to brick walls.

Please, no more than two pieces per month (bi-monthly), 500 words max. SPaG Ninjas are expected to offer up detailed comments and explanations to pinpoint frequently occurring SPaG issues within a piece, and lengthier pieces will hamper this. Any piece longer than 500 words will be deleted with a PM to follow. No exceptions. SPaG Ninjas are not here to simply edit your work; they’re here to teach.

Only SPaG Ninjas are allowed to comment on pieces within the SPaG Workshop. Posts from regular members, even if well intentioned, will be removed. If you feel there’s an issue with SPaG advice given, please contact the Head SPaG Ninja via PM or report the post (green report button) so the issue may be taken care of privately.

Trolling, verbal mudslinging, blatant disrespect (or anything of a similar nature) for Workshop members and/or SPaG Ninjas will not be tolerated. The Head SPaG Ninja reserves the right to remove any offending members from the Workshop.
