Hi, I'm Norv. I just signed on to WB, but I've been writing off and on for about 50 years. I had an interesting experience a few decades back. I wrote a script for the TV series "Little House on the Prarie" and got an agent to submit it, but the producer passed on it.
More recently I've been involved with designing board games. I approach my designs from a story telling view. It's an interesting challenge because the storyline needs to be open ended to accommodate interaction between players. Recently I wanted to be able to develop a story that I had more control in leading a reader from point A to point B; so, I tried my hand at a novella I titled "The Dewey Connection". I hope to post it in parts for friendly feedback. Thanks for your interest.

Hi Norv,
Welcome to the WB. I love games! And ready stories, so do our other members. So if you would take the time to read our FAQs and find out how we do things around here, I am sure you'll see that you have found the right place. (or the write place.) With your years of experience it would be nice if you could give the other members some help in the form of a meaningful critique of your own. That way when you are ready to post your own work, those same members might return the favor. Then we all help each other. Have fun while you're here. We have coffee at all hours, so no need to leave.

Hey NorvBrooks,
Nice to 'meet' you! WB is a great place for sharing your work and also critiquing on the work of others. As Lucky pointed, don't forget to read the FAQs. They have some helpful guidlines about how to critique the works of others, and they will give you an idea of what to expect. 50 years on and off, eh? I am sure you'll have a few pointers to offer us. Well, put your feet up and grab a cuppa and I look forward to 'seeing' you around! Loz
