Cliche #10 - Mighty Casey Has Struck Out--But Joe Gets a Homerun! (Original Cliche)
Joe was just your average guy. He worked an average 8-to-5 job, and he had an average house with his average dog. He was about average height and weight, and lived an average life. Yet, hidden underneath all that average-ness was a bigger spirit than anyone could have imagined . . .
This month's cliche is: The Underdog Saves the Day! Let "Average Joe" do something so heroic, that it could only be classified as a cliche. Or, if you're so inclined, spin to get it out of the cliche box and make it something new and fresh for us! *** Submissions should be made as new threads with Cliche #10 in the title. Example: Cliche #10 - Mighty Casey Has Struck Out--But Joe Gets a Homerun! (Feel free to use your own title!) Comments should be made in the respective threads.
