Default Father Guide Me

Father guide me
If I fall
Help me rise and stand beside me
Yes revive me
With persistence and your assistance
Help me thrive so lively
If you see me pick me up
Donít roll right by me
Life can take a toll
So I beg for control to drive me
Show me vision give me wisdom
So I donít patrol so blindly
I know my soul survive me
The flesh is susceptible to death so timely
I love my father and these words remind me

I'm not religious at all, nor do I really like any sort of religious writing. I think this is nicely done, just the subject matter appeals so little to me.

This is more geared towards my flesh and blood father not a mystical father. I don't believe the stories either but i write about it a lot.

I love how this can be interpreted as both spritual and sentimental or emotional. It gives the reader what they are looking for and the sentiment from son to father is really lovely.
