Sorry, my mistake. I forgot that "cu fola" was bloodhound. "Cu" on its own is "hound".

Yes, it's just the Gaelic for what my original custom user title was. What can I say? I'm extremely unoriginal.

You hoity-toity Mods, Admins, and ex-Mods and ex-Admins with your blasted privileged ability to alter your fancy-schmancy user names! Gaelic! Pfft! How 'bout Swahili, or Latin, or Cyrillic, or Mandarin, or Klingon? Bah!

Stinkers!

Ratfinks!

Dillyhammers!

Neo-maxi-zoom-dweebies!

And here I am stuck with this damned ridiculous Scribbling Master for a thousand posts or more, until the arbitrary switch something equally ludicrous!

I paint with the Pen! I do not scribble! I am an artiste!

A Samurai Of The Scriptorium! A Ronin Of The Writ! A Bloody Wizarding Word Warrior!

I am insulted! This outrage shall not stand! I avow before you effete, dandified courtiers this day that I shall have my satisfaction! The gauntlet has been throw! Beware ye high and mighty, for great is the clatter and calamity when such thou art pitched from thy perch!

Fie and tremble, false gods of the grimoire, for the Lexicographic Lord cometh, wielding His omnipotent Plume of Power, His ink shining like burning plasma, calligraphic across the endless black slate of the Cosmos!

I cometh for thee, thou laurel-sitting puffpieces!

I will meet the anon upon the Threads of Honor!

Good day to you!

Oh, Q, you know you'd want to see it! Don't lie. Everybody would. It'd be a nasty lil' thrill to anybody who came across it. You know that particular tickling itch? Of course you do. Everybody's gotta' scratch it sooner or later. Heh-heh-heh... Nooch!

Maybe you need to go sit on the naughty step, fella. Mind you, you'd just try to look up the girls dresses as they went upstairs. *sigh*

Well, I've gotta' keep occupied somehow? Idle mind are the devil's playground. And the Devil always gets his due.

And, yes, what exactly were you going on about, squeaker? I know you value you enigmatic randomness, but that last bit was going above and beyond the call of nebulous, into the realm of Whuh-huh?

Jimmy Out.

Idle hands are the Devil's playground, Jimmy, ol' chap.

And I think the little mouse wants us to translate "Mus Vir".

In SJ's case, mind is correct.

Hmm, that's strange. The way I heard that saying was always: The Devil makes work for idle hands.

Well, yes, that is the way the saying goes, but SJ has a dirty mind that only gets dirtier if it isn't kept occupied. So, in his case, idle mind suits. Does that make sense?

As Q was surmising, I was paraphrasing the old adage. I've always heard it as "Idle Hands Are The Devil's Workshop (or Playground. Either way.) But in my case, if I don't keep my synapses firing, insidious Evil tends to creep in round the edges until it pervades my every thought, and even so I'm a fairly salacious and malefic entity. So things tend to go downhill from there. Can you dig it, brotha'?

Congrats NW, this comes as a surprise to me as I thought you already were a moderator before you became one.

It wasn't all those PMs I sent out yelling at people and telling them they were banned, was it?

Thanks, Mr.Gryn! It's all in the wrist...

(Edit: Hey...that's actually not a bad custom-user-title...)

*Looks at NW's custom user title.

How spontaneous of you.

Edit: I own the rights to that title, I inspired it, I expect royalties!
