Well, Shakespeare did say, in Hamlet, 'Brevity is the soul of wit'....

Hi, and welcome to the forum.

Hey Kate

Welcome to WB!

Cookies and fruity tea can often be found in the cafe. FAQs - at the top of the page - are the way to a mod's heart. Please do check them out for a feel of how things work around here.

Happy writing/reading/critting!

See you around,

Loz

Hi Kate,

Like Loz said, Welcome to the Beat.

You have already discovered how to edit your own post, but have you found the FAQs? And have you been reading up on those and did you see we have an ezine that has contests in which all members can participate and hope for their works to be published if chosen as winner?

Do you know we have a Cafe? That my coffee is always fresh? That most, if not all, members like to write and then read what others have posted. To offer them their constructive, elaborate and honest feedback. Like you can do too.
If you don't now how, read how others have done it before you or read the FAQs, it's all explained there too.

What genre do you like to write and/or read? Are you more of a poetry or a prose person?

Well, it's been nice chatting with you, but I need to go do stuff. Writing, editing, modding, oh you know, things to do, places to be.

Have fun while you're with us.
