Was playing the album this track comes from:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pj7iUXzvtSI

and stumbled across this, although not a tune it was on Youtube and it's only a couple of mins. long but I was crying with laughter:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V3RlWbzU8Hw
I'm a big Johnny Vegas fan anyway.

He's from North West England, a town near Manchester, he's often pissed when performing. If yer struggling with this accent don't try Geordie - you've no chance.

I have a friend who lives back in Liverpool. He followed a woman to the states and I trained him as a plumber for a few years.

When we talk on the phone (a few times a year) I feel like he slows it down for me.

Kenny also hates everyone from Manchester. Apparently all these people are wankers. Not sure why, but I think it has something to do with soccer.

I just paid too much for a limited edition Small Faces box set.

Damn right I'm listening to it. I've got to get my money's worth!

Yeah football (use the correct term) is a big factor between Manchester United and Liverpool but I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t go deeper than that. Most towns, cities or areas have their local rivalry and often the cause goes further back; Rangers and Celtic is religious for example. Having strong family roots in the east end I’m a big West Ham fan our main rivals are Millwall, which dates back to pre 1920’s dock strike when one side went back to work early (can’t remember which one), we don’t often play them but last time we did, in a cup game, there was a riot. Our other rival is Tottenham Hotspurs and this is said to go back to West Ham being an east end club and the Jewish immigrants who lived there. Once these immigrants start to flourish they moved out of the east end to north London and changed their allegiance. That’s it. That’s all I know.

'When it's over' by the Wipers (or is it just 'Wipers'?) Simply a killer track, like so much of their stuff

That is a good a one. Reminds me of when videos were a really big deal.

People are still making good videos these days -- even on the low budget indie side -- but you have to look for them.

At the risk of being obnoxious (which has never stopped me before) I'll post one of my own songs...

This is Andre Rieu performing a waltz which was written by Anthony Hopkins.

The thing that fascinates me is the dynamic between Hopkins and his wife sitting next to him - I find it really uncomfortable to watch. Poor woman seems desperate to share the moment with him and he pretty much blanks her.

Sounds good.

Wow -- I had no idea! I just clicked the link and was thinking -- what's he got to do with it?

I guess he knew he was on camera so he didn't pick his nose or anything. And it would have been nice if he'd acknowledged his wife -- but I can't really blame him for being so into it.

Yeah that's me. And I overdub the harmonies. After multiple attempts at putting a band together and working with singers -- I just do the one man band thing these days and play and sing all my own tracks.

Pretty gifted man huh?

No, I don't blame him - but her attempts to engage him are uncomfortable viewing!

Sounds so professional - the quality of the recording is excellent.

I'm still learning. But it's absolutely amazing what you can do these days with a few hundred dollars worth of equipment and software.
