Default tired

i am tired of walking into public places
only to be greeted at in blind hatred
without words spoken

i am tired of going home
only to find the word meaningless
as i sit alone and think against the wall
looking at my reflection in insecurity

i am tired of isolation
of looking at her in illusion
- yet hate
of hiding behind a mannequin
of her hiding behind her own

i am tired of people
- and their problems
of their love
of their lies
of their hypocrisy

as i sit in tired remorse

It might not have occurred to the OP, but by flooding the forum with poem after poem like this, he is pushing other people's work off that all important front page which the only place that they will, realistically speaking, get any crits.

Yes, Harper. I'm thinking you're excited to have a place to get your work out there and express yourself. But it's a good idea to post one poem at a time -- collect some feedback and then let it sink down the page before posting another. I believe there's a posting limit too -- and there's definitely a rule about forum flooding. Generally, if I see someone posting several poems at once -- I won't read any of them.

Cheers.

tired?

Not surprising. Putting up six pieces tends to tucker a fella out.
