Hello! I'm new at this

Hi everyone! I'm Michele. I'm 21, recently graduated from Binghamton University with a degree in English and Creative Writing. Since I finished school, I've been trying to write daily. I like every genre, but I tend to write more poetry than anything. I have a plan to set my poems to music and turn them into songs, but I've yet to make any progress toward that. My main project I'm working on right now is a memoir. It's about middle school and what a miserable experience it was for me. It's written in journal entries from the view of my adolescent self. I'm sure I'll be posting more about it once it becomes more fleshed out.

All in all, this site seems like a cool way to interact with other writers and I'm excited to be a part of it.

Congratulations on graduating. I was going to study English or Creative Writing at Uni, but I'm planning on studying pre-historic and Roman archaeology instead now (I know it's very different). I'm in the cafe most of the time. Despite my rather large post count I haven't actually posted too many stories. I prefer reading them, and messing around in the Cafe or on the threads in the Board Games forum. Anyway, I look forward to seeing you around
