So, I live in Salt Lake City - and my story starts in a fictional small town in the same part of the state. The characters go through Idaho and and then Washington and Oregon, travelling down the coast and stopping in the middle of the state. I'm staying in a town called Astoria, on the coast of Oregon, but taking a day out of my week and a half to drive down the coast to see the towns where they travel to. I haven't been to any of them since I was a young girl, but it's kind of a wish fulfillment thing. I always wanted to go back.

Now I get to!

Yay me!
Lucky duck!
Have fun.

---
I don't like the taste of water from the tap and or bottle. If I drink more than a couple of mouthfuls it makes me gag.

So what does that leave? Do you like water from the hose then?

My kids thinks I'm crazy cause I'm laughing my head off about Gwynnie the Poop.

New random fact. My husband and I discovered last night that we really enjoy watching the ping pong world championships, which they call table tennis. *snickers*

It's really funny! It's better than Saturday Night Live!

Default My Fandom Ract...

I started using a middle initial (wasn't born with one) 20 years ago and, over time, without doing anything "legal" to change my name, I have a SS#, Driver's ID, and Credit Card with that initial.....

I just came back from San Diego during ComicCon - Absolutely amazing. Loads of free stuff, tried demos of Dead Space 2 (brilliant) and Dragon Age 2 (also brilliant). Then I won a copy of Crackdown 2 and played with the new Kinect system. Also attended the "Bioware Brawl" which was a bunch of people on a grassy area beating each other with inflatable swords

MUCH FUN.

I have just returned from a mysterious and undisclosed location and have like 17 billion pages of new posts that I'm not even going to try to tackle. It's 1:30 a.m. and I have a busy night of assassinations pending...

I saw something about that on TV last night, and thought how much fun it would be. I'm super jealous, dude!

I swear I'll go to one of those one day!

(I know, I know, that makes me a total nerd!)

Yesterday my three main meals consisted of a bowl of cereal each. I don't see this as weird, I see it as an achievement.

You should read the book, first called "Starship Soldier". It is a great peace of social-political satire that the movie turns tongue in cheek. But I believe that the writer, Robert A. Heinlein, had some great ideas. He's the same guy that wrote Stranger in a Strange Land.

My TV will never be big enough to do this film justice. I am lucky I got to see it at the cinema.

I'm not ancient enough to have seen it when it came out (), but I do love that film... my favourite character is the medic, closely followed by the psychic - but only because he's played by Neil Patrick Harris

My bad, I mean the drill sergeant who is constantly hurting people and screaming "medic".

Like the bit where he pins the guys hand to the wall with a throwing knife.

It's not really interesting, but I want to join in.

My music taste is ridiculously eclectic. I'm only 18, yet my music taste can span back to old jazz. I even have some quality 60's tracks (bet that makes some of you feel old...) - 135 to be exact - and the complete ABBA collection. Currently though I'm listening to Example.

I thought of a new, weird random fact about myself.

I was born with both of my hips out of their sockets. My mom had to keep 3 cloth diapers on me all the time to make my legs stick out to the sides. She said it eventually pushed my hips back together the right way. I started getting arthritis in them when I was 16 as a result. My left hip doesn't have a full range of motion - it's probably more like 50%. Even when I was completely limber, I could never do the splits because of it. It was like trying to bend your elbow backwards - I just can't move my hip that direction.

I peed on my cellphone in the urinal once. Not on purpose. Just the cellphone slipped out and fell into the thing.

It was one of those moments where you think, should I stop peeing to pick it up, should I pee on it, or should I move to a different urinal.

Not the most hygienic thing in the world. So I left the cellphone there, I couldn't dare bend down and grab the cellphone again. I canceled that phone and transfered it to one of those free new ones you get every now and then...the one I swore I'd never would use, but in the end piss forced me to use the new phone.

And that is the life of an almost klutzy me.

lol

I'm a clutz. I've banged my head on something 4 times in the last 3 weeks. One time was very cartoonish. I stepped on the broom and it rose and whacked me right in the head. Classic Tom and Jerry moment.

I'm beginning to think that the nail on my right hand little finger grows quicker than it's counterpart on my left hand. I'm not sure, but I'm starting to think so.

They creep me out, too! I never understand why they were them inside. There's no point of it.

Random fact: I can trip over anything. I can trip up the stairs; I can accidentally jump over 2 stairs and fall instead of just going up the stairs...I can trip over the little edges in the sidewalk if one 'sidewalk' is higher than the other. I'm really a klutz.
